The exhibition OUTSIDE the museum
Opening weekend of the National Museum of African American History and Culture. We'd just finished touring the museum. All I said was "Lonnie, stand right here." The rest was all her. I wanted to catch some sunlight in all that beautiful hair of hers, so I told her where to stand and then Beyonce, Chaka Khan, and Diahann Carroll just came outta nowhere. I usually have to do some coaching to get results like this, but this queen here needed no direction. I was just lucky enough to be there for the show.
And that's how it went down. I was just standing there minding my business and got blinded by an explosion of hotness.
